The process for obtaining medical cannabis is the same in Ontario as it is in other Canadian provinces, however, the process is still quite different than the process of getting other types of prescriptions. Medical cannabis in Canada is regulated under the Cannabis Act. The best way pharmacists can do better at maxing the opportunity of talking to their patients about medical cannabis is having the knowledge to address the most common questions patients may have.
